Principal Product Manager - Stablecoin

Description

We're a global IT consulting company and a software development service provider that helps organizations operate at their best. With 30+ years of experience, +6 Global locations, and +1000 employees, TEAM combines technology expertise, valuable insights, business intelligence, and a client-centered approach to address challenges in business operations, digital transformation, risk management, compliance, business continuity, and more.

We are looking for an exceptional Principal Product Manager to be client's stablecoin expert and to shape how businesses send, receive and hold digital dollars with us. We are building a world-class product team that can help us remove the borders, barriers and burdens from global business.

Product Management is all about creating and delivering an ambitious roadmap with your team and working continuously with clients and stakeholders to ensure your product is driving real value for our customers and the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of something challenging and transformative, someone who wants to play a critical role in driving our success.

We place a high value on curiosity. The best Product Managers here are endlessly inquisitive about our customers, our data and how money really moves.

As our Principal Product Manager, Stablecoin

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, but an oversight of the Stablecoin Product function and acting as the business SME. You will be the person at Sokin who understands stablecoin payments end to end: the rails, the custody and liquidity arrangements, the compliance obligations, and what a finance team actually needs in order to use digital dollars with confidence.

Client's stablecoin capability is built from several specialist partners and spans customer jobs and internal jobs: receiving and sending digital dollars, converting between fiat and digital assets, being certain assets are safe and under the customer's authority, completing Travel Rule information without delay, and, inside Sokin, screening transactions, monitoring wallets after the event, holding assets within regulatory permission, and reconciling every balance. Partners supply the capabilities; turning them into one coherent experience for a customer, an analyst or an operator is client's own work, and it is yours to lead.

You will set the stablecoin strategy and shape the roadmap across Send, Receive and Convert, work with Compliance and Treasury on the regulatory and custody path, and act as the expert voice with partners, regulators, clients and the senior team. You will lead through influence, not line management.

Your role as a Principal Product Manager:

  • Define and own client's stablecoin product strategy and roadmap across sending, receiving and converting digital dollars, and make the build, buy and partner choices behind it
  • Act as client's subject-matter expert on stablecoin rails, custody, liquidity, on and off-ramps, wallet risk and the evolving regulatory position, and educate the wider team
  • Work with the Send, Receive and Convert product owners so that stablecoin is a circumstance of a job (a rail and an asset) rather than a separate product that forks the experience
  • Own the experience across partners: a single view for compliance analysts, a clear status for customers and Support, and reconciliation that spans on-chain, custodian, partner and ledger balances
  • Work with Compliance, Treasury and Legal on screening, Travel Rule, wallet monitoring, custody arrangements and the path to Sokin's own permissions, and plan for the change that will bring
  • Evaluate and manage partner relationships, performance and commercial terms together with the relevant teams
  • Plan for how AI agents and developers will use stablecoin features, including mandates, limits and escalation above limits
  • Work from client's Jobs to Be Done catalogue: describe the jobs your customers and internal users hire your product for, the outcomes that matter, and the evidence behind them, and keep that picture current
  • Spend time with clients, Sales, Operations and Compliance to find the jobs that are least well served today
  • Coach Product Managers and Designers on stablecoin product questions and help set standards across the Move Money teams

Requirements

  • You have 8+ years in product, including significant experience building stablecoin, digital asset or crypto payments products in a regulated environment
  • You understand stablecoin issuance and rails, custody models, on and off-ramps, liquidity sourcing, and how settlement actually works on the major networks
  • You know the compliance landscape for digital assets: sanctions and transaction screening, wallet monitoring, Travel Rule and the licensing position in the major jurisdictions
  • You can look at a stack made of several partners and design a coherent experience on top of it, not just manage the integrations
  • You influence senior people and peers without relying on authority, and you are comfortable being the expert in the room while staying open to challenge
  • You are analytical and pragmatic about evidence, and can separate a market narrative from what our clients actually need
  • You are comfortable working with finance, risk, treasury and legal stakeholders and designing products that are user-centric and compliant
  • You thrive in ambiguity and a fast-moving market, and you bring structure to it
  • Curious and inquisitive: you ask why before you build, dig into the data and the customer's real situation, follow questions past the first answer, and are never satisfied with 'that's how it has always been done'.
  • Comfortable using AI in your role: you use AI tools as a matter of course to research, draft, analyse and prototype at speed, and you stay fully accountable for the result. AI is a tool that sharpens your judgement and never replaces it: you check what it gives you, and the thinking stays yours.
